I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.
I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.
Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Fri Jun 12th, 2026 @ 5:51pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne
"Sometimes the only way to outrun a ghost is to build something faster."
The final mourners drifted away beneath the California sun while transporters flashed and shuttlecraft lifted toward every corner of Earth. Conversations lingered in small clusters before dissolving into the distance. Shore leave beckoned with beaches, cities, restaurants, family, and all the other things people sought when they needed recovery. Jenna Ramthorne watched them scatter across the grounds outside Starfleet Command and felt an odd sort of restlessness settle beneath her skin.
The funeral had ended. The speeches had been given. The honors had been rendered. The dead…

Starfleet Retreat and Conference Center
Lake Tahoe
Room 211
T'Lar sat cross legged in quiet meditation while Jacob Rosen slept in the other room. While she found that falling asleep in her lover's arms was in its own way exceedingly conducive to a deeply restful slumber, she knew that ignoring her usual habit of meditating before sleep would eventually catch up to her; and so resolved that tonight, regardless of whatever romantic goings on ensued, she would resume her nightly ritual.
Having completed her meditative contemplation, she quickly and quietly showered then dressed in a green tee shirt with…

Mission: Pirates!

"A trap is merely a battlefield where one side arrived early."
I.S.S. Sunfire – Bridge
The Federation captain was smarter than most. Remal could see it immediately. The tactical display showed the Bristol holding position instead of advancing. Shield geometry had shifted. Sensor sweeps overlapped. Escape vectors had already been calculated and transmitted to the second vessel. They were preparing for an ambush. The irony almost amused him.
"Captain," Tactical reported. "The lead vessel is conducting a displacement analysis."
"They've found us," Bonnie observed, not implying a question.
Remal's eyes remained fixed upon the display. The Federation ship had not…

The Parting Glass
The transporter room aboard the Sunfire carried its usual rhythm of efficiency. Technicians moved between consoles while the familiar hum of energized systems filled the space with quiet purpose. Bonnie stood on the transporter pad with her satchel resting against one hip and stared at the destination coordinates displayed on the nearest monitor.
Dublin, Ireland, the final stop.
Chief Rourke glanced up from his console and offered her a polite grin. "You know, Lieutenant, I can put you considerably closer to your registered destination."
Bonnie looked over. "I know you CAN..."
"Absolutely, I can. Front door delivery,…

The silence that followed was different from the silences that usually inhabited the Temple.
The mist drifted through the stars in slow currents while the timelines above continued their endless weaving, but there was tension hidden within the motion now. A current beneath the current. Something ancient drawing inward.
Patin saw it immediately. “Oh, don't start that,” she said, pointing upward. “You don't get to go all mysterious and omniscient after I finally ask the right question.”
The stars dimmed slightly.
The future remains in motion.
The future is not fixed.
The answer influences the answer.
Patin rolled her eyes…

Personal log, Lieutenant JG Rowan Hale.
Several weeks have passed since I reported aboard the USS Sunfire. The distinction between days has already begun to erode, replaced by duty rotations, alert tones, and the constant vibration of the engines through the deckplates. This is a familiar phenomenon. I have experienced it before. The recurrence is… notable.
Assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer has proceeded with fewer complications than anticipated. That does not imply the absence of scrutiny. Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali has proven invaluable in both administrative and clinical matters. Her insight into crew psychology is precise and uncomfortably…
» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer
Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne
Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge
Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.
At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.
Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.
Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)
I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2
The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…
