I do believe it is Independence Day for my Northern living crew. I hope the day was filled with family and friends.
I also happens to be the 24th anniversary of this fleet forming. Yes we've been around THAT long, there are a handful of us who have been around since those early days.
Leaving thoughts of middle age and decrepitness aside, please see the below anniversary link..there's some cool stuff going on there :)

=Brig- USS Sunfire=
Having been beamed aboard The USS Sunfire and Michael found himself within the brig As the crew from the shuttle had found themselves up against mirror versions of themselves, this had led To some of the crew getting injured and needing medical attention most of them will be screened to find out whether they were of this universe or the mirror universe, Michael understood how cautious they were being as they didn't know Who was who.
As he sat on the bunk and thought about how he was going to face himself and stop him, as…

Mission: Character Development
Posted on Sat Dec 6th, 2025 @ 10:43pm by Commander Rosa Coy & Commander Jenna Ramthorne
The bar wasn’t loud tonight, just the low murmur of off-duty officers, the soft glow of amber light catching glass and steel, and that faint jukebox hum that always made Jenna feel like she was perched on the edge of an old Earth jazz club instead of a starship docked at DS9.
Jenna sat on her usual stool, one elbow braced on the counter, fingers curled loosely around a half-finished drink. She was relaxed in the way only pilots ever were, the stillness of someone who had spent the day dancing with gravitational fields and now needed a moment where…

Mission: For Bajor!
Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:51pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne
The USS Sunfire drifted in a steady, almost meditative orbit above Bajor, her hull glinting against the soft gold of the planet’s morning light. Jenna stood at the center of the bridge with her hands loosely clasped behind her back, feeling the quiet rhythm of the ship like a second pulse beneath her own. Days like this were rare, no alarms, no rushing, no unseen threat creeping in from the margins. Just a ship, a crew, and the austere beauty of a planet healing beneath them.
When Ops announced an incoming transmission, Jenna already felt the shift before she turned.…

Mission: For Bajor!
Posted on Wed Dec 3rd, 2025 @ 8:32pm by Commander Rosa Coy
The runabout Yenisei hummed with that dependable, unassuming little-engine-that-could energy, the kind of ship whose personality was built entirely out of patience. Rosa sat at the helm, eyes forward, posture as crisp as regulation demanded, and as rigid as discomfort required.
Her co-pilot, Ensign Kalev Varri, clearly hadn’t gotten the memo about the silence she hoped to keep.
“There!” he said, pointing at the viewscreen as if Rosa couldn’t see the incoming shuttle. “Trill registry. Right on schedule. You Trill folks run things like clockwork.”
A tiny muscle jumped in Rosa’s cheek. “So I’ve been told,” she said.
I could…

Mission: For Bajor!
Posted on Wed Dec 3rd, 2025 @ 7:06pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne & Lieutenant Commander Bonnie "Bon-Bon" Durnell & Remal Kajun & Patin & Captain Rhenora Kaylen & Commander Savar cha'Salik hei-Surak Talek-sen-deen & Commander Dean House & Lieutenant Commander Aurora Vali & Lieutenant JG Micheal Stevens & Ensign Kitiuas Thenis ie-Jia'anKahr & Commander Jennifer Baldric
They still had to deal with the fallout, Commander Baldric, the symbiont, Dean bleeding, but Bonnie was at the helm and curiously confident. “Alright, sweetheart,” she murmured to the controls, “don’t embarrass me in front o’ the Commanders.” She nudged the throttle forward.
The shuttle lurched violently backward, scraping a complaint through the landing struts. Bonnie blinked. “Okay, wow. Yep. That was reverse. Cool. Great. Love that for us.” She spotted Savar’s eyebrow rising, silent, judicial.
Savar looked at Bonnie from the co-pilot's seat as the shuttle was proving to reluctant to cooperate if the groans, shakes and tremors were…

» USS Sunfire — Acting Command Log - Bajoran Satellite Transfer
Posted on Fri Dec 5th, 2025 @ 6:38pm by Commander Jenna Ramthorne
Commander Jenna Lee Ramthorne, Bridge
Orbital track remains stable over Bajor’s northern hemisphere. Power levels nominal, comm buoy array holding lock. Current duty shift cycling cleanly.
At 1427 hours, Deep Space Nine signaled priority contact. Colonel Kira Nerys appeared on main viewer. Her report was short and to the point: the replacement control satellite had passed all station-level diagnostics and was ready for handover. Requested Sunfire to retrieve, position, and complete final activation protocols. Authorization codes transmitted and verified.
Acknowledged the order and initiated retrieval preparations.
Helm plotted a straight-line course from our current orbital anchor to DS9 at three-quarter…

Personal Log, Leo Da’Cinci — Supplemental
(Confidential. Not for official record. If ye’re readin’ this, put it back where ye found it, or I’ll throttle ye with me own spanner.)
I woke up this mornin’ to the bloody computer chirpin’ in me ear again. 0600 hours sharp, no mercy, no consideration. “Good mornin’, Lieutenant Da’Cinci,” it says, as though I’m about to spring out of bed with a smile. Ha! I roll over, mumble a curse or three, and slap the console ‘til it shuts up. Truth be told, if the ship herself didn’t need me, I’d never leave the…

Personal Log:
Entry 2
The transfer to the USS Sunfire is still pending. The ship hasn't arrived at Deep Space 9 yet, and so I am left to wait. I've been spending my time in my quarters, staring out the window at the endless parade of vessels docked at the station's ring. My gaze keeps drifting back to my own ship, the Achilles-class I brought here, a testament to my own work. Seeing it so close only makes my current assignment feel more… ordinary.
I have been officially assigned the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer. In a time of…

Kitiuas stepped into her new quarters, much larger do to the fact it was designated for family.
Kasso looked up from the kitchen nook 'Well you look like a warmed over korgasant." said Kasso as she stirred something in the Orion firepot in front of her. Kit could smell the rich spices and sizzling food and smiled.
Kit replied, "I feel like a warmed over korasant. I need to take a shower before I nurse . Where is Astraea by the way?"
Kasso nodded to the side of the counter, there was a small Orion rocker crib. "I finally got…

Alright, here it is. Quinn's final request before I ship out. A personal log. I’ve never seen the point of one of these. My memory is, and always has been, perfect. But I obliged. As I always do with him.
I'm packing now. Or, what passes for packing. The reality modulator is humming, folding my few possessions into pocket-sized singularities. A few tools, my meditation sphere, the memories. The memories are what feel heaviest.
It's strange, but the thought of this new post on the Sunfire brings everything back to the beginning. Or, rather, the end. My end. I still…
